A Message From the President
The Academy membership is comprised of faithful alumnae of the University of Arkansas Department of Civil Engineering as well as honorary members who have been chosen in recognition of their accomplishments. The Arkansas Academy of Civil Engineering is a strong instrument of service having as its purpose the recognition of graduates of the University of Arkansas and their contributions to the profession of Civil Engineering. Further, the Academy exists to encourage students, graduates and Department faculty in their efforts to bring credit to the institution as well as the profession. The members of the Academy recognize it to be our duty and responsibility to support the programs and the financial needs of the Department in order to continually improve the quality of the graduates and the integrity of the time honored profession of Engineering.
